You guys!! We have someone coming to look at our house on Thursday! Ahhh...I'm SOOO praying that they will LOVE our house and make an offer the same day!
The stinky part is that I have been in the process of cleaning out closets, gathering items for a garage sale, and basically making a mess of our house getting ready to move next weekend. Yes. My house is messy. And I have worship team practice tonight.
Therefore, TOMORROW will be spent packing and moving some of my clutter to the new house, while also cleaning every square inch of the golf course house! But I don't care because my heart is already here...
So please pray that we sell our house Thursday!

Randomness
First of all, is that even a word? I have 5,000 thoughts in my head right now...
* I've been crazy busy at work today. Payroll is today, and we just installed a new time clock which makes things more complicated and I'm just not used to it.
* I know you like my use of run-on sentences.
* Trace's 2 month appt was yesterday, and he had to get three shots and one vaccination by mouth. Boo. However, my little stinker weighs 14lb 8oz and is 24 inches long! He's like the Jolly Green Giant! He was in the 82nd percentile for height and 93rd for weight. Looks like we may have another Brayden on our hands...
* My phone is ringing off the hook, and I can't get anything done!
* Brayden is spending the night with a friend tonight. This will be his 2nd time to spend the night with someone other than family- the first was when Trace was born. I'm nervous! But I know he will be fine...he's my independent social butterfly.
* Brayden's party is tomorrow! And my cleaning lady didn't come...what is that about!? Doesn't she know I have dirty, outside-playing, camo-wearing, cake-eating boys coming to my house??
* I just heard this phrase, "mom guilt", and I don't like the fact that it applies to me. Why do we set ourselves up for failure as mothers? We expect way more out of ourselves than is humanly possible in the hours we are given! I'm trying to quit making myself feel like a failure when things don't go perfectly the way I had planned.
* I feel like I'm rambling, but this is how the thoughts come tumbling out lately!

Where does all the time go?
I feel like I just posted, and yet, as I look at the date it was over a week ago! Crazy. How time flies. Well, Friday I went up to Brayden's school and took cupcakes for his class! They were adorable; they had little deer on the top! Saturday was his big day!! We made his favorites: chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and homemade pizza for lunch. That afternoon, our whole family went to Paasche's in Hattiesburg to do a little painting of pottery. Brayden chose a 4 wheeler and Caleb picked a shark! Too cute. I'll have to post pics of them later; I'm supposed to be picking them up tomorrow. Then we met my parents and my brother at Red Lobster for my sweet boy's birthday dinner! We are gearing up for his birthday party on Saturday...yes, that would be the camoflauge deer hunting party, lol.
I can't believe my baby is 6 years old. I am so thankful to have this sweet, tender-hearted little boy in my life. Thank you Lord for blessing me with this precious child!

Fast Approaching
Ahh, so many things have been going on. Last Tuesday, I was fortunate enough to get a fantastic spa pedicure courtesy of my parents (thank you!) and get my hair cut. I LOVE going to the salon. I could have a spa day once a week; I have beautiful toes again :) So that was fun. Then, Thursday night I attended a baby shower for a sweet couple at our church. They're having a girl so everything was PINK! Girls have such cuter clothes than boys. Ohhh, but speaking of, Kisha's (my BFF) sister gave me several Strasburg and Castles & Crowns outfits for Trace that her boys have outgrown. What a blessing!
I think I told you that last week Caleb was sick; well, Saturday, Brayden started running fever and feeling achy all over. He had the flu! Luckily, our doctor called in a prescription for antibiotics and tamiflu. He had to miss school yesterday because he was still running fever, but he's doing better today. Which is good news, because Saturday is his birthday!
I can't believe he will be six years old. I am frantically gathering together Mossy Oak camoflauge party supplies and finishing up making his party invitations so they can be mailed/passed out tomorrow. I will have to take pictures, I'm quite proud of my handiwork! We aren't having his party until next Saturday so I still have a little time to finish up my details. He was adamant about having a "hunting/ camoflauge" party. What kind of party favors do I give for that? Haha. Anyway, I know it will be fun, but I'm still scrambling trying to get everything how I want it to be.
My sweet friend, Kisha, is getting hunting themed cupcakes from Paul's Pastry for him to take to school on Friday. I'm sure we will go out for his birthday Saturday night. I can't wait to make his day super special!!

Sorry
Sorry I've been absent the past few days! My middle son, Caleb, has been sick so we have stayed home. Also, Monday our phone line accidentally got disconnected, so no internet at home. It still hasn't been fixed. :( Hopefully, I'll be able to get caught up tomorrow!

Disney Vacation!
I'm dreaming of a Disney vacation! With my sweet soon to be six year old and my precious three and a half year old. I have been wanting to take Brayden since he was three; I think I may have finally convinced Jeffry that this could be our year! He doesn't want to go when it's extremely hot, so we may be taking Brayden out of school for a few days. I am pretty sure we will stick to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, unless you guys sway me otherwise. I think at least one set of grandparents will accompany us, so we will probably want to book a suite or adjoining rooms with a kitchen area. I need ya'lls help!!
1. WHEN is the best time to go and for how many days with kids this age?
2. Where is the best place to stay? Tell me your MOST & LEAST expensive favorites.
3. Should we eat in the parks or bring our own food?
4. Are there any SPECIAL things that we just HAVE to do if we go?
5. Please give any other advice you can think of!!
I have been checking the Disney website and Mouse Savers, and there is just so much information it's overwhelming!

Living the life
Matthew 3:7-10
7 But when he saw many Pharisees and Sadducees coming to watch him baptize,[a] he denounced them. “You brood of snakes!” he exclaimed. “Who warned you to flee God’s coming wrath? 8 Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. 9 Don’t just say to each other, ‘We’re safe, for we are descendants of Abraham.’ That means nothing, for I tell you, God can create children of Abraham from these very stones. 10 Even now the ax of God’s judgment is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire.
Wow. This really spoke to me. The line in bold just flew off the page at me. Live my life as proof that I have turned to God. I hope that my life is a testimony to others. I know that I make mistakes and have to turn around and ask God for forgiveness. I'm so thankful that He doesn't just give up on me and gives me second, third, and fourth chances. How thankful I am that He is not human...people seem to rarely give second chances to others.
Thank you Lord, for sacrificing Your life for me! You are truly the God of second chances! I want to live my life so that others know You live in me.

Ringing in 2009!
For New Year's Eve, Jeffry and I joined two other couples at Walnut Circle Grill. It was so wonderful! I just love the atmosphere of the restaurant; it's never crowded...I feel like it's "our" spot. We had a blast ringing in the new year! I was so tired the next day though! I'm used to waking up during the night to feed Trace, but I'm not used to staying up late any more!
New year, new look
Sorry for the delay in posting New Years pics! Ahh, I haven't even finished posting Christmas, and it's already the new year! I picked this new layout from The Cutest Blog on the Block, and I love it. Fresh and clean for 2009!
Some of my goals for this year:
* Read the One Year Bible EVERYday
* Get back to pre-baby weight...I'm back to what I was before Trace was born, but I mean before Brayden was born. Yes, that was 7 years ago. Ah. Is it bad if I don't want to diet, but just exercise? I love food too much to quit eating everything I like. And I'm SUCH a dessert person. Bad.
* Write everything in my planner. EVERYTHING.
* Cook at home at LEAST three nights a week.
* Get up-to-date on my scrapbooking. I have Brayden finished through age three, poor Caleb only has his baby book finished, and here I have Trace to get started on! I'm SO behind.
* Get to know more people in the blog world! I've just started following some of your blogs; please feel free to follow mine! I have added the "Follow me" link on the right side of my page.
* Be more intentional in my relationships.
* Keep my house free from clutter! Which I anticipate will be hard with three boys. Especially when the oldest 2 just got Legos for Christmas. Haha
That will do for now. I may post more as I think of them :)
What are your resolutions for this year?
