DO HARD THINGS!

Do Hard Things - Amazon Book Bomb

I have not read this book, but I have read several reviews and I'm very excited about it!! TheRebelution.com is hosting an Amazon.com Book Bomb for Alex and Brett's new book Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations. TODAY, March 25th we're going to try and push it to the top of Amazon -- and I need your help!

Alex and Brett are two teen guys who care about our generation and want to see us living for the glory of God. This book is like a manifesto for the Rebelution movement!

This book has a message that teens need to hear. The book bomb is a great chance to get a copy for yourself (plus a few to give away- they would make great graduation gifts!) at a great price and help get the book in front of thousands of new people -- all at the same time!

Also, for every copy of the book that people buy on Amazon.com TODAY, Alex and Brett will be giving away copies to teens and ministries who can't afford them.

If you want to help out, go to TheRebelution.com and and check it out. Help spread the word!

Spring Break and Easter Egg Hunt!

We have had another busy few weeks! Brayden had Spring Break this week, so he has been with Jeffry's parents since Tuesday. I miss him SOOO much! He's coming home tonight. Caleb has missed Brayden a lot! He has not known what to do being the only child in the house for a few days, and I'm ready for Bray to come back to help entertain Caleb, haha.

I got my hair cut yesterday. Pretty short! I just went in wanting something different and left it up to my hair stylist. He has great taste, so I knew it wouldn't be bad. I was just nervous of what Jeffry would think because he thought I was only getting a trim! he loves it though, and I do too, especially after it only took me 15 minutes to blow dry this morning. Definitely a plus when you have two kids running around!

Today is actually Jeffry's birthday! We woke up late this morning, and I made him homemade cinnamon rolls. They were so good; you can find the recipe and many other good ones at www.thepioneerwomancooks.com. Jeffry took Caleb to ride in the tractor while I finished up my Easter shopping. I can't wait to take pics of the boys tomorrow; their outfits are so handsome! After lunch, my friend, Cydnee, and I took the kids to the Easter Egg hunt in town. There were a lot of people, tons of eggs, and the Easter bunny showed up with a police escort! The kids had fun gathering up the eggs and eating candy. Here is a pic of Caleb and Madisyn.

Shoe shopping

I love shopping for shoes. I probably own about 35 pairs of shoes right now...which is really not that bad in my opinion. My husband certainly disagrees with this! I think Caleb has inherited my love for shoes. He LOVES shoes and is very particular on which shoes he wants to wear everyday. Jeffry and I recently took the boys shoe shopping in Hattiesburg. We were going to go to the cute kids' shoe store, but it was closed. :( So, we ventured off to Belk because I had a coupon. The kids' shoe section was a wreck! There was not a salesperson to be found and the shelves were so disorganized. I was almost ready to just go somewhere else, but of course, Jeffry didn't want to go to another store, haha. We dug through the mess and actually ended up finding some great shoes. Each of the boys got a pair of Sperry's for Sunday, which are just adorable. I love them on little boys. Then Bray found some New Balance slip-ons that he fell in love with (apparently they make him run SUPER fast). Caleb was grabbing shoes right and left to try on, and we finally settled on some cute navy Stride Rite's for him. We checked out and went back to the car. It was one of my fastest shopping trips to the mall, but that's usually how it is with husband and kids in tow!
