Anniversary Surprise!

Jeffry came home the other night and TOTALLY surprised me with this...

A TRIP TO SANDALS IN JAMAICA!!!

I didn't even know what to say!! Our anniversary isn't until June so I wasn't even thinking about a trip or gift or anything. We will be there exactly 60 days from today!! SOO excited! I have the best husband ever.

Here's a preview of where we will be staying:

Breathtaking. We've been to Jamaica before but never to Negril. CANNOT contain my excitement to celebrate my 7 year anniversary with my honey!

Good Friday

Lord, no words can capture the love that You have for us or the sacrifice that You made upon the cross for our sins. I am so thankful that You have taken me from nothing and turned me into something that is pleasing in Your sight. Help me to place my focus on You and You alone. God, your Glory astounds me....

"GLORY" by Selah
One day eyes that are blind will see you clearly
And one day all who deny will finally believe
One day hearts made of stone will break in pieces
And one day chains once unbroken will fall down at your feet
So we wait for that one day come quickly

One day voices that lie will all be silent
One day all that's divided will be whole again
One day death will retreat and wave it's white flag
One day love will defeat the strongest enemy
So we wait for that one day come quickly

We know not the day or the hour
Or the moments in between
But we know the end of the story
When we'll see

We want to see your Glory
Every knee falls down before thee
Every tongue offers you praise
With every hand raised
Singing Glory
To you and unto you only
We'll sing Glory to Your name

REST

Sooo Trace doesn't have any teeth yet, but he is definitely teething. He is just not himself and fussy and chewing on his fists like crazy! Yesterday was the worst day so far, and today hasn't started off any better. I feel so bad for him; he's all out of sorts. We've been doing Tylenol and Orajel, hoping to take the edge off so he can relax a little. It seems to help somewhat. He really likes to chew on blankets, which neither of my other boys did. If anyone has any helpful teething hints, they'd be VERY appreciated!! We are just taking it one hour at a time right now, haha.

We have had such a crazy morning:
*Cranky 3 year old Caleb, crying about EVERYTHING
*Teething Trace, tired and fussy
*Big brother Brayden, oblivious to the chaos around him!
*Morgan's monitor broken at office, so work is not getting done today.
*Short-handed at work because one of our employees is out of town.
*Trying to finish up taxes....ugh. I'm so not a last minute person, but we are doing everything through our accountant so it's not really up to me.

But in all of this craziness that is our life, Jesus reminds me to draw close to Him, wash myself in the River of His love, and REST. So that's what I'm doing.
